Paris Saint Germain star striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic may just be gearing for an English Premier League challenge after dropping a hint that he was in shape and up to the task for it.
After the French giants beat Chelsea in the first leg of the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, the 34-year-old Swede was asked if he hoped to ever play in England.
Ibrahimovic, who has about three months left on his contract, said: “I have another three months here and then what will happen? Big things will happen. Let’s see what happens. Let’s just say I am in shape.”
Before coming to France in 2012, the big Swede had played in his homeland, Holland, Spain and Italy.
With the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal having expressed interest in him in the past, Ibrahimovic could end up in the Premier League next season, while a move to the American MLS is also not out of the horizon.
