Foremost financial institution, Zenith Bank has expressed appreciation for its recognition as Banker of the Year 2020 (Nigeria) by the London, UK-based The Banker: Financial Times Group.
The conferment of the highly coveted award followed two earlier ones this year, also by The Banker, as the Most Valuable Banking Brand in Nigeria and the Number One Bank in Nigeria by Tier-1 Capital.
Reacting to the latest recognition, MD/CEO of Zenith Bank, Mr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, said, “It is a thing of joy for us at Zenith Bank to have been recognized by The Banker-Financial Times Group as The Bank of the Year 2020 in Nigeria.”
He dedicated the award to the bank’s staff for their “commitment, doggedness, creativity and very outstanding talents”.
According to him, it is on these talents that the bank has continued to build dynamic competencies and capabilities that are driving its business for continuous superior performance.
