Former One Direction member, Zayn Malik and his Victoria Secret model partner, Gigi Hadid have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, E! News reports.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful,” Zayn announced to his fans on twitter.
Talking about how he felt, the singer tweeted, “To try and put into words about how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task.”
He continued, “The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together x.”
However, presently, the happy couple are in no rush to their newborn daughter’s name to the public.
It was just four months ago when Gigi announced that she was pregnant during a virtual appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s, The Tonight Show.
“Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms. But we are very excited, happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” she said.
Last month, a source close to them said that the couple was savoring this time together. “Zayn and Gigi are really excited and have they been loving this experience together,” the source hinted.
The dynamic couple have been together since 2015 having overcome many set backs, however, with the arrival of their baby girl, it’s obvious the relationship between the pair is waxing stronger.
