The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps has raised alarm over the continuous recruitment of youths into Boko Haram.
Abdullahi, the state commandant of the NSCDC, made this disclosure after they had intercepted a reasonable quantity of fuel which were neatly packaged in gallons of groundnut oil.
The parcel was headed to Gamboru, Ngala Local Government Area in Maiduguiri.
He revealed that the Boko Haram terror group were having food shortage and lacked basic amenitites, hence the need to think of a solution to solve the problem.
A suspect was arrested in connection with the case.
He confessed to selling each of the fuel kegs at an exorbitant price of N15,000 to the terror group.
According to reports, some persons engaged in the sale of cows to the terror group, who buy and resell by sending it to their agents in the town to help dispose of the cows.
The commission placed a general warning to the villagers to avoid any form of association with the group and to refrain from engaging in illegal business with the terror group.
The NSCDC also warned them to refrain from doing any form of business with the sect or they get penalized for it.
