‘You’re the most dangerous terrorist’ – Journalist tackles Fani-Kayode over Obi arrest calls

A journalist, Blossom Martins, has tacked former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode for calling Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi a “master terrorist” that should be arrested by the security agencies.

Fani-Kayode, who is a chieftain of the ruling APC, called for Obi’s arrest after LP campaign spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo, confirmed the authenticity of a leaked telephone conversation between the LP presidential candidate and Presiding Bishop of Winners Chapels, Bishop David Oyedepo.

In the course of the conversation, Obi had referred to the February 25 presidential election as a “religious war”,  telling Oyedepo to help him get votes from Christians in South-West and Kwara state.

“Now that the spokesman of Peter Obi, one Kenneth Okonkwo, has confirmed that the audio recording of the conversation between Bishop Oyedepo and his principal is authentic, it is time for us to call on the security agencies to declare Peter a master terrorist, a security risk, a man that is wholly unfit to lead a multi-religious, multi-ethnic, multi-cultural state and a hater of non-Christians.

“He is indeed one of the “troublers” of our nation,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.

Reacting, Martins said that Fani-Kayode is not in a position to call anyone a terrorist going by his antecedents.

“FFK is the most dangerous and notorious (terrorist) in Nigeria walking around freely…and for Nigeria to regain its peace again, Fani Kayode MUST be in chains. He must pay for the grave damage he has caused my country.

“This man has repeatedly incited tribes and religious groups against each other… He has openly encouraged violence in different parts of the country,” the journalist tweeted.

She described the Obi tape as “cooked up” and blamed “FFK and his low life media teams”.

The journalist described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as “evil”.

“Their political structure alone and their nature of appointments can indeed be described as an act capable of inciting “religious war” targeted at breaking Nigeria into bits.

“Where in a multi-religious country, do you (choose) to sideline a particular faction and even call them irrelevant and insignificant like one governor from the Northern region, where???

“These people even went as far as mocking our priests by hiring touts and vagabonds to dress like our most respected clergies,” Martins said.
