President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the family of All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Umar Aliyu.
In the condolence message signed by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Monday, Buhari joined friends and associates to mourn the ”talented architect and loyal member of the APC”.
The president appreciated the deceased for always standing by the party and the government, and for particularly dedicating his time and resources to mobilise for candidates during elections.
He also lauded the deceased for going further to “build understanding with the electorate”.
He prayed that the almighty God would grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort his family.
