Bop Daddy Falz shunned Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his self congratulatory post on Twitter.
After March 18th electoral violence and intimidation, All Progressive Candidate and incumbent governor, Sanwo-Olu has been re-elected governor of Lagos state.
The governor took to his Twitter, congratulating himself saying “I am honored to be re-elected as your Governor and pledge to continue to work tirelessly to deliver a better Lagos for all.”
Thank you Lagosians!
I am deeply humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support and trust of the good people of Lagos State. I am honored to be re-elected as your Governor and pledge to continue to work tirelessly to deliver a better Lagos for all.
Thank you for believing… https://t.co/ElfdPWZFze pic.twitter.com/g049GQJbp2

However, singer/rapper Falz shunned his tweet stating that Sanwo-Olu reappointed himself governor and not Lagosians.
You were not re-elected. You selected yourself. Everybody saw it unfold. You are only deceiving yourselves https://t.co/9CQL4wDyKZ

Babajide Sanwo-Olu ran the gubernatorial race alongside PDP and LP’s governor candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor.
The election though not free and fair has seen Sanwo-Olu re-emerge as the governor of Lagos state.
