Nigerians disappointed by the failure of indigenous cable TV provider, TSTV to keep to its promise of commercial roll out before Christmas went on social media to vent their frustration.
The torrents of abuses came after the company wished Nigerians a happy New Year on Monday, January 1.
After a failed October roll out promise, the company on December 8 promised a pre-Christmas commercial roll to Nigerians, many of whom were eagerly expecting the roll out, after a test run in October.
TSTV’s Public Relations Officer Ernest Essien was quoted by Vanguard as saying: We are almost done with our test transmission and we are just putting some finishing touches and hopefully by the grace of God, between now and next week the decoders will be out for sale.
We are informing Nigerians that they must enjoy their Christmas with their decoders. So before Christmas, the decoders will be everywhere in the market.
The company failed to keep the promise.
Many social media users reacted angrily to the New Year message the company posted on its Twitter handle, comparing the company to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which they accused of failing to keep its promises.
