Yorubas Can’t Be Foolish To Vote For Atiku – Festus Keyamo

2 Min Read

The Director of Strategic Communications of Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo (SAN), has rubbished the endorsement of PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

Appearing on a Channels Television programme “Sunday Politics”, Keyamo said that the Yoruba people would respond to Atiku/Obi endorsement by the John Nnia Nwodo-led Igbo socio-cultural group.

Keyamo also said that Buhari would soundly defeat Atiku in the North in the February 16 presidential election.

According to him, any numerical advantage secured by Atiku from the South East would be cancelled by expected massive votes for Buhari in the North.

The senior lawyer added that the South West would also back Buhari because of his running mate, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

He said, “The Yorubas will react to what Ohanaeze did because they cannot be foolish enough to see Ohanaeze endorsing their son and they will keep quiet and say they will go and support that son and they have a vice president, a professor of law, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), renowned professor… They’ll now abandon him for a China man, coming from the East. Let us wait and see.”
