Why does a yet to be released American Warfare Game show a terror attack on CMS Lagos? (Photo)

Good morning Conspiracy Theorists! We ran a story yesterday on the new installment to the multi-billion dollar video game franchise, Call of Duty. The next edition called Advanced Warfare is due to be released November 4th, 2014.

It features multiple award winning Hollywood actor, Kevin Spacey who is said to star as a villain in the game.

In the opening of the trailer which was released earlier this week, his character makes these statements,

  • “Democracy is not what these people need. Hell, it’s not even what they want. Americans have been trying to install democracy in Nations for a century and it hasn’t worked one time.
  • “These countries don’t even have the most basic building blocks to support a democracy.” (When he makes this statement, there is a shot of CMS, Lagos burning in the background).
  • “You think that you can just march into these countries based on some fundamentalist religious principles, drop a few bombs, topple a dictator, and start a democracy?! [long pause.] Hah. Gimme a break.”
  • “People don’t want freedom. They want boundaries, rules. Protection, from invaders and from themselves.”
  • “People need a leader who can give them both the support and the constraints to keep chaos at bay. You give them that, and they’ll follow. And that’s where I come in.”

Many people who have played this game attest to some weird similarities between the game and real life, especially when the countries being depicted in missions are in the developing world.
