Over time, love triangles have been popularly portrayed in the media and you often meet people who claim that they are in love with two people.
Ramani Durvasula, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at UCLA has revealed that it is actually possible to love two people at once.
While speaking with Yahoo Relationships, she said “We assume love comes in one flavor, but it’s really much more than that.
“We are complex and complicated beings, and it’s very possible that two different traits in two different people can both appeal to us.”
She further explained that as individuals grow, they can be attracted to people who complement different aspects of who they are.
She said “Attraction is a very biological experience. When you’re going through a positive transition—anything from an exciting new job to a physical transformation—and are feeling happy with yourself, you’re more open to new experiences and new people.”
