WWE Legend, Chyna has been reported dead according to a statement released on her Social media page.
The Statement reads:
“It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero,
“Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, the 9th wonder of the world has passed away. She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.”
According to the wrestler’s manager, she was found in the afternoon, he added that no cause of death had been determined.
According to police statement, “The Redondo Beach Police received a 911 call from a friend of the apartment unit resident that the female inside was not breathing,”
“The friend told Redondo Beach Police that the female had not answered her phone in a few days, and went to the location to check on her welfare. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a deceased female inside the location.”
Joanie Laurer, popularly known as Chyna was the first WWE Intercontinental Championship record holder, she was also the first woman to participate in the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring events, as well as to become number one contender to the WWE Championship
American Celebrity Gossip website, TMZ has however speculated that the WWE champion might have died as a result of possible overdose
