Protest is a way people register their grievances globally but a Nigerian man took protest to a whole new level when he engaged a live band to perform right in front of a commercial bank which purportedly made wrong deductions from his account.
In an undated amateur video circulating on social media, the live band armed with microphones, loudspeakers, drum sets and other musical equipment can be heard singing and calling the bank, a branch of Fidelity Bank, unprintable names.
The Herald could not immediately verify the man’s identity or if he explored other means of resolving the issue before inviting the live band to disrupt the bank’s activities.
However, @MistaFrank_, a Twitter user who shared the video, stated that the bank “refused to refund”, suggesting that the man approached the bank for a resolution before taking the extreme step of renting the live band.
