37-year-old WBO World Welterweight Champion, Manny Pacquiao has found his way into the Philippines Senate.
The boxing champion joined the world of politics and got the support needed as he got elected into the Senate on Thursday.
Manny was announced alongside 11 other members for the upper house of Congress by the Philippine’s elections Commission.
Pacquiao while addressing reporters said: “I can focus and discipline myself, the way I did in boxing to help the nation,”
He also promised to push for free education at all levels. The two-term congressman also promised to push for the strictest penalty, death, for drug-related offenders.
