We Are Working To Put an End to Holding of Territories by Boko Haram-Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan has said that the government is working to put an end to holding of territories by the Boko Haram sect.

He made this statement at the 17th meeting of the Honorary International Investment Council (HIIC) in London.

He said “We are improving in the area of security, for about a week now, no new story about the Boko Haram sect holding territories. Instead, we are reducing them by the day, as many local government areas in Borno State, which were taken by the Boko Haram insurgents, had been taken back. We are working at put an end to holding of territories by the Boko Haram sect.”

On transportation in the country, he said all state capitals would be linked by rail so that the roads can last longer and the government is making efforts to improve the nation’s road networks.
