A Tragic incident occurred when a woman, Mrs Nkiru Peter, lost her baby after receiving a headbutt from her neighbour.
The perpetrator, ThankGod, was said to have committed the act after an argument with the Pregnant Mrs. Peter over water usage in the house.
According to the Punch, Mama ThankGod claimed to have pumped water which Mrs. Peter’s househelp, a girl called Oluchi, used without permission.
The girl denied using the water and this led to an altercation between the two women with Mama ThankGod allegedly giving her son ThankGod a stone with which to injure Mrs Peter and he proceeded to headbutt her.
The Pregnant Mrs. Peter fainted after the attack and had to be rushed to New Life Hospital in Ajangbadi where she was attended to.
According to the Punch, ThankGod ran to the Okokomaiko police station to lodge a complaint alleging that it was he and his mother that were poorly treated by Pregnant woman.

The Police went to the Hospital to arrest Mrs. Peter and according to reports, the Doctors told the officers that they would need a vehicle to convey her.
“ThankGod and his mother inflicted serious injuries on the woman. While the woman was taken to the hospital, ThankGod went to report the matter at the Okokomaiko Police Station as though the lady was the one that caused the problem.” said a witness
“The DPO ordered the arrest of the pregnant lady from the hospital. When the policemen who were sent to the hospital to arrest the woman got there, the doctor told them that they could not drag the woman out of the hospital because of her condition.
“He asked them to provide a vehicle, which they did. When the woman was taken to the police station, the DPO ordered that ThankGod be detained instead, although he was later released. But from what we gathered, the woman lost her pregnancy in the process.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, Chike Oti while confirming the incident also claimed that the Police had tried to settle the matter and had counselled both parties on good neighbourliness.
