The police in Kano have addressed rumours that the woman identified as madam Bridget who was killed in Kano over alleged blasphemy, had her head cut off and paraded on the street.
There had been images of people who looked vaguely Hausa carrying a woman’s head while protesting, but the police have now said that that’s an unrelated incident.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the case so far as the hunt continues for the rest of the suspects.
Her husband confirmed in a press conference that she’d indeed been beaten to death.
