A twitter user known as Deedeeposh recently recounted the ugly situation surrounding the death of her late 44-year-old aunt. Dee mentioned that the aunt had been married for about nineteen years without a child but was finally blessed with a set of twins.
The twitter user narrated that at the time her aunt was expectant, she took a self-made decision which unfortunately cost her life. The aunt whose name was not mentioned, was advised by her doctor to undergo surgery in order to easily deliver the twins.
The woman rejected the advice and decided to deliver the babies naturally. Unfortunately, she had birth complications which eventually led to her death alongside her twin babies.
Some Nigerians on twitter who stumbled on the post tried to sympathize with the family but maintained that the death would have been avoided.
