Woman Beats Two Of Her Biological Children To Death In Imo State

A mother, identified as Mrs. Ukamaka Ezike has reportedly beaten two of her three little children to death in Awo Idemili community in Orsu council area of Imo State.

According to Orlando Ikeokwu, who is the Police Public Relations Officer in Imo, the suspects husband, Christian Ezike left the house over the weekend, during which his wife mercilessly beat two of their children.

The children, one 2-month-old and the other 2-years-old where rushed to the hospital in critical condition where they died while receiving treatment.

According to a statement released from the Police command, it said:

“On the 16/11/19,at about 9am,one Christian Ezike of Awo Idemili, in Orsu LGA, reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Orsu, that on the 15/11/19,while he was away his wife, Ukamaka Ezike, beat up this three children, Kosarachukwu Ezike four years -old, Chinwendu Ezike, two years -old, Chinecherem Ezike two -months old.

“they were rushed to the hospital,and Chinecherem and Chinwendu died while receiving treatment, suspect has been arrested and investigation has commenced accordingly.”

Over the years, stories similar to this usually occur in abusive homes, where children are neglected and left to fend for themselves
