Wizkid’s latest album, ‘Morayo’, has taken the top spot in Billboard’s new music poll, garnering an impressive 78% of the vote.
The poll, which featured a diverse range of new music releases from various genres, saw Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ emerge as the clear favorite among music fans.
The album, which is dedicated to Wizkid’s late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, features 16 tracks, including collaborations with Jazmine Sullivan, Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Anaïse, and Tiakola.
Wizkid’s ‘Morayo’ lead single, “Piece of My Heart,” featuring Brent Faiyaz, reached No. 4 on the U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and No. 7 on World Digital Song Sales.
The poll’s results saw ROSÉ’s solo single “Number One Girl” come in second place, while Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album GNX took third place.
