Nigerian acts, Wizkid and Seyi Shay were involved in a mild online drama following comments by Seyi Shay about Wizkid’s One Dance feature with interb==national act, Drake.
Here’s how it started, Seyi Shay was on an interview and decided to lend a voice to Wizkid’s cause as many have debated his ownership of the One Dance single which is currently viral and hot on the billboards rating.
Seyi Shay maintained that the song was written and produced by Wizkid and some African producers but was hijacked and stripped by international act, Drake.
To this, Wizkid took to his social media page on Twitter to shut his fellow Nigerian artiste up, apparently, such publicity could hinder his growth on the international scene,

Seyi Shay, realizing the extent to which her unconfirmed comment had angered fellow artiste, Wizkid was quick to tender an apology as she took to her social media page on Twitter to write: “I love wiz n I was just tryin 2 defend my bro. I stand 4 African music. I spoke based on ‘Hear say’ but i was mis informed…”
Wizkid, confirming all is well in paradise again tweeted: “Love my girl Seyi Shay regardless.”
