Nigerian Afrobeats singer Wizkid has extended an olive branch to music executive Don Jazzy, calling him an “amazing human” on social media. The move comes after a public feud between the two musicians, which began when Wizkid called Don Jazzy an “influencer” and ended with the two unfollowing each other on Instagram.
The initial feud started when Wizkid responded to a post from Don Jazzy’s signee, Ladipoe, which seemed to mock Wizkid’s assertion that “hip hop is dead.” Wizkid reacted by saying he would never chat with someone signed to an “influencer,” which many perceived as a slight against Don Jazzy.
Despite the recent tensions, it appears the two have put their differences aside, with Don Jazzy recently thanking Wizkid for endorsing his signee Ayra Starr’s new album.
