Wizkid Aka Starboy has allegedly stated that he would only perform at international shows if his fee of £100,00 is paid.
According to the Vanguard, Wizkid was approached for a show and offered £50,000 which is about N22m but he turned it down stating that due to the way the Nigerian economy is he would not be able to take such a small amount.
Reports indicate that Wizkid now charges double for shows abroad and due to his popularity right now, it is a fee that people eager to have him perform are willing to pay.
The £50,000 deal he rejected was said to have been brokered by his international management team “Disturbing London” – which is co-owned by British/Nigerian rapper, Tinie Tempah.
