The Concerned Militant Leaders, CML, group originating from the Niger Delta region yesterday handed down a two weeks ultimatum for the Fulani herdsmen to vacate the South East and South South region of the country following the attack on farmers and villagers in both regions.
The group in a statement issued by its spokesman, General Ben in Port Harcourt called on the Federal Government to find a lasting solution to the incessant attacks by the Fulani Herdsmen on communities.
The Group’s spokesman said: “After two weeks, starting from today, Tuesday, May 3, we are going to search for Fulani herdsmen. Since Federal Government cannot tell us who they are up till now, we are going to look for them.
“The Fulani herdsmen have indirectly challenged us, asking us what can we do. But, we promise them that we will not allow them to go without taking revenge. It is an insult and we will give them back.”
