Girls Who Pluck Their Eyebrows Are Cursed By Allah – Islamic Cleric

2 Min Read

An Islamic Sheikh, Mohamad Doar has warned Muslims girls against making friends with non-believers as it will earn them a place in hell.

The Islamic cleric made international headlines after his controversial advice to Muslim girls during a youth night.

He further mantained that plucking their eyebrows could also secure them a place in the pit of burning fire.

The cleric, Sheikh Mohamad Doar while addressing the girls in Sydney’s west cautioned them against friendship with non-believers as he said: “The reality is, my sisters, any friendship that is not built on the fear of Allah is only going to lead to hell fire so you need to be cautious.”

He added: “With your actions, you distance yourself from the corrupted people.”

Sheikh Doar, an Islamic cleric from Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah Association further told girls present at the forum held at Punchbowl that Allah curses women who pluck their eyebrows, wax their bodies or shave hair off it.

He said: “You are not allowed the remove the hair of the eyebrow, it’s a major sin.

“The lady who plucks her eyebrows and the one who gets them plucked, they’re both cursed by Allah.”

While taking questions from the girls present, the Islamic cleric said with regards to what a proper hijab should look like: “It cannot be see-through showing skin. The hijab needs to be as plain as possible,’ he said.

“It cannot be an imitation of the disbeliever’s dress code. It cannot be attracting to the eye. It cannot resemble the dress of men. It can’t be a showing-off cloth.”
