Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to do everything possible to keep former Kano Governor, Sen. Rab’iu Musa Kwankwaso within its fold ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The PDP chieftain made this known in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday afternoon.
Kwankwaso was one of 11 aspirants that lost the presidential ticket of the PDP to former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the National Convention held in Port Harcourt over the weekend.
According to Fani-Kayode, Kwankwaso’s followership base popularly known as Kwankwasiyya Movement can greatly positively affect the party’s chances and reduce President Muhammadu Buhari’s well-known influence in the North West geopolitical zone in the 2019 presidential election.

He said, “The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) must NOT lose Kwankwaso to another party.
“His “Kwankwassiya” movement is second to none in the North West and it will divide and shatter @MBuhari’s massive support base in the core north.
“We need him so that we can break Buhari’s back and flush him down the toilet.”
