Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was reported to have stormed out of an event organised by the Nigerian Police yesterday.
The former president stormed out of the maiden yearly special training and capacity development event organised by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG, in charge of Zone II, yesterday after the event billed to start by 10:30 am failed to kick off.
Reports indicated that Obasanjo had arrived at the venue of the event which held at the Federal Palace hotel at the scheduled time only to meet the absence of the IGP and other important officials invited to the event.
Obasanjo was however reported to have waited for about 90 minutes before storming out of the event venue.
He was reported to have said as he exited the venue: “Next time, before you call me, please be ready.”
