Seyi Balogun, the acclaimed Nigerian singer known as Seyi Vibez, shed light on the mystery surrounding perceptions about his age during an interview on Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio. The 23-year-old artist disclosed that the reason many believe he is older than his actual age is rooted in the perception that he is engaging in endeavors beyond his years.

Addressing the common misconception, Seyi Vibez stated, “Everyone thinks I am older than my age. Nobody thinks I’m 23. Because it seems I’m doing what I am not supposed to do at my age. I just have to keep pushing and working, so my inspiration never dies.

The singer went on to offer insights into his creative process, emphasizing his inclination to communicate through music rather than extensive verbal interactions. He shared, “I keep recording not because I want to record, but because I don’t like talking to people too much. Since I was young, I didn’t like talking to people too much.
