Manchester United winger, Alexis Sanchez has revealed why he struggled to find his footing when he signed for Manchester United in the second half of the 2017/2018 season.
According to the Chilean, he went through a ‘learning period’ and is now ready to help United win trophies.
Recall that United signed Sanchez in a straight swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the January window and he went on to net 3 times in 18 appearances.
The 29-year-old admitted his performance was below par last season and added that he was ready to help the club going forward.

Speaking ahead of United’s league opener against Leicester on Friday, Sanchez said, “I can’t remember the last time I had a break and a long vacation.
“It served me well to rest, to clear my head a little bit and get stronger for the season.
“I’m already off to a great start. It’s been years since I’ve had a pre-season like this one, and I hope I’m in good shape to face Leicester.”
Meanwhile, United went on to win record a 2-1 victory over Leicester at Old Trafford.
While Paul Pogba scored a third-minute penalty for United, Luke Shaw doubled the lead in the 83rd minute.
Jamie Vardy pulled back a 90th-minute consolation for Claude Puel’s team.
