Popular music artiste, Iyanya Mbuk has explained his decision to quit Mavin Records less than two years after joining the label.
The Kukere crooner managed to release an EP and two videos with Mavin before leaving for another label, Temple Music.
However, he has denied reports that he left Mavin because of the number of popular stars on the label which prevented his career from blossoming.
Mavin boasts an array of stars, including Tiwa Savage, Reekardo Banks, Korede Bello, Dr SID and Di’ja.
He said his decision to quit the label was to enable him continue to evolve and become better in his music career.
Iyanya further denied reports of falling out with the Mavin Record crew, maintaining that he remains cordial with everyone he left behind at the label.
In a recent interview on radio, he said: “It was not beef. I was there and it was time to move on. I’m now signed to Temple Music but, I am a Mavin for life.“
Aside the established acts, other artistes Iyanya left behind Johny at Mavin are Drille, Poe and the DNA twins.
