Nigerian screen diva, Omotola Jalade, has answered the question as to why she isn’t in as many movies as she used to be back in the day.
The Nollywood actress said that this was because not many movie directors could afford her wages anymore
Omotola Jalade did an instastory in which she interacted with fans and explained why she was no longer doing as many movies.
“Most can’t afford me, some can’t afford what it takes to have me on set. It is a new terrain, all will balance out soon,”

She also answered the question as to why she went with the nickname ‘Omosexy’, she revealed that it was her husband who gave her the name.
“My husband added ‘Omosexy’ to my name. I didn’t mind what people would perceive of me because of the name. People will always fall in line with what you present ultimately,”
The actress came to prominence way back in 1996 with her movie ‘Mortal Inheritance’ where she played a girl living with Sickle cell anaemia and her seemingly doomed romance with her lover who was played by Fred Amata.
She went on to do a slew of successful movies and after a long disappearance appeared in 2017’s ‘Alter Ego’ where she once again gave a stellar performance
