German midfielder, Leroy Sane, was left out of the Manchester City team as they take on Newcastle meaning the youngster hasn’t started any game this season.
It has been a difficult couple of months for the winger who was left out Germany’s World Cup squad. While Germany crashed out ignominiously, it was expected that with a full summer’s rest and a full pre-season, Sane would have a starting shirt at Manchester City.
This has not been the case, however, and according to reports this might be due to the player’s attitude.
There were whispers that this was the same reason that the starlet was left out of the German squad.

While he was in blistering form last season, the German has been far from his best even on the occasions in which he has been introduced into the team.
During preseason, Guardiola had complained about the player’s application, stating that Sane was “far from his best”,
Ahead of the Wolves game, Guardiola said that he had no problem with Sane, “In the past two weeks in training, I’ve seen the Leroy that I know and we know,” Guardiola told the press. “I am delighted about that.
“You know about his performances in pre-season, he arrived late and now he is getting back like Leroy is.”
It seems that the drop is a way to get last season’s young player of the year back to his normal levels
