Lere Olayinka, the spokesman of immediate-past Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has explained why his boss is still in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) despite being granted bail by a Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday.
He said in a tweet that the ex-governor had met the bail conditions imposed by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun as at 2pm on Friday but will be out of EFCC custody on Monday.
Justice Olatoregun had granted Fayose bail in the sum of N50 million and ordered him to produce a surety with landed property in Lagos and evidence of three-year tax payment.
Olayinka disclosed that Fayose had provided everything the court required.
