The Department of State Services (DSS) has asked, Kassim Afegbua, spokesman to former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida to return to the agency’s office on Friday for a “friendly chat” after he could not be attended to on Thursday.
According to reports, the DSS had requested the repeat appearance because its Director General, Lawal Daura, was not in the office when Afegbua came and he was therefore not questioned.
Afegbua, who reported at the agency’s office arounf 12.46pm did not leave until 6pm.
Recall that Afegbua on Wednesday visited the Nigerian Police Force headquarters to honour an invitation extended to him over a Sunday statement he issued on behalf of IBB on Sunday.
He confirmed to TheCable on Wednesday evening that the DSS had also invited him to their office on Thursday for a “friendly chat”.
However, he said he would be returning to the agency’s office this morning.
“We were asked to come again tomorrow( Friday) morning. We were waiting there until 6:00 p.m when we were asked to go,” Afegbua said.
