Nollywood Actor, Bolanle Ninalowo has revealed reasons behind his conversion from Islam to Christianity.
Ninalowo revealed God came to his rescue at a time where he was frustrated with the troubled situation of his life.
The actor who made the revelation during an interview with Mr. Porsche, said he was born into a staunch family of Muslims and he was named Azeez. However, none of them could help when the storm began to rage in his life.
He said the bible was the only saving grace that restored peace to his life. The Actor claimed he has been to the church once in his life, the bible has become his life manual as he enjoys meditating on God’s word.
“Although I have only gone to church once in my entire life, I read the bible a lot. My name is Azeez; I was born into a staunch Muslim family. When I was troubled and frustrated, it was the bible that saved me, as my parents and family members couldn’t. So, I picked up the bible and it became my life manual.”

Reacting to the rise and fall of screen actors, who after attaining great feats in their acting career often become broke, Ninalowo said, “The blame should not be on Nollywood because it doesn’t have structure, it should be on the individual. You are not a victim of circumstances; you are a victim of the choices you made. A lot of them are carried away. They don’t have retirement plans.”
