Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, has spoken about the closure of Nigeria’s land borders by the federal government.
Adams described as suspicious the continued closure of Nigerian borders, particularly in the southwestern axis.
The Aare Ona Kakanfo explained that the country borders in the north are open and still operating.

The Yoruba chieftain said this on Friday, October 25, at the grand finale of the 2019 edition of the annual Olokun Festival in Badagry, Lagos.
He added that the continued closure of the border has adverse economic implications for the people of the southwest.
