The Personal Assistant to the President on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has described opposition politicians urging President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek reelection in 2019 as “Internally-Displaced Politicians”.
The presidential aide said this in a post on her verified Twitter handle on Wednesday evening in reaction to a cartoon by famed BusinessDay editorial cartoonist, Mike Asukwo.
In the cartoon, Asukwo had drawn an image of Buhari appearing to punish some people he identified as “Internally-Displaced Politicians.”
Asukwo captioned the image: PMB should go back to Daura and rest, so that the INTERNALLY DISPLACED POLITICIANS will return back to their looting.
Onochie, who thanked Asukwo for the cartoon, said, “That’s why they want him out. He’s staying till 2023 when ALL OF THEM would have learned to keep their leprous fingers off public funds.
“They would have also learned Equity, integrity and justice. We all would have learned to respect Nigerians.
#PMBRunAgain”
