The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige has revealed President Muhammadu Buhari’s plans for the country especially as it is faced with economic recession.
Ngige, yesterday, during a chat with newsmen in Awka, Anambra state disclosed that the President is not against restructuring of the nation’s economy.
The Minister further disclosed that Buhari has started restructuring the nation’s economy.
He said: “Nigerians have positively changed their way of doing things for the better and have become more prudent and judicious in their spending pattern.”
Noting that the impact of the president’s decision may not be felt early, Ngige assured Nigerians that the president will politically restructure the nation at the appropriate time.
“It’s one after the other. After economic restructuring to reposition the economy of this country, the Buhari administration will embark on the political restructuring and will set the modalities for the exercise.”
