Earlier today, Femi Fani Olukayode was granted bail by the Federal high Court in Abuja in the sum of N50 million.
Olukayode, the former Director General of the Goodluck Jonathan re-election campaign has been charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who allege 5 counts of money laundering to the tune of N26 million. He is facing a separate charge of 17 counts of money laundering to the tune of N4.9 billion.
Olukayode has been in detention for a total of over 30 days this year alone. His well wishers took to the Facebook page of his political mentee, Deji Adeyanju to wish him well.
