The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has said that he wept alongside Sammie Okposo when the musician told him how pastors treated him.
He said this in a tweet on Friday while mourning the gospel artiste’s death.
The Herald earlier reported that Sammie Okposo slumped and died in his home early Friday.
Since the news of the artiste’s death broke, Nigerians from all walks of life have taken to mourn his death.
Suleman took to Twitter to recount some phone conversations he had with the musician before his death.
He recounted weeping with Sammie Okposo after the musician told him about how some pastors treated him when news of his infidelity broke.
Recall that the musician was enmeshed in an infidelity saga earlier in the year after an American lady identified as African Doll accused him of impregnating and abandoning her.
Suleman said, “Now they post his pictures…but never reached out in his trying times..
“He told me what pastors did to him and we both wept..
“Love has left the church..
“We have more ‘lawyers’ who are ready to judge than intercessors ready to restore..
“Rest in power my brother..
“You conquered!”
