Wanted Nigerian Journalist, Ahmed Salkida has been released by the Department of State Service, DSS.
The journalist who was declared wanted by the Nigerian Army few weeks ago was arrested two days ago in Abuja as he landed in the country.
Ahmed Salkida was along with two other people declared by the Nigerian Army in connection with the Islamist-Jihadist sect, Boko Haram.
He was reported to have been released yesterday evening following his cooperation with the security officials while he was in detention.
Recall that Ahmed Salkida had issued a statement informing the Nigerian security agencies that he was not on the run and would make himself available as soon as he obtained a flight ticket into the country.
He was reported to have left for his friends’ place as soon as he was released.
