Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, has stated that he hopes to add to his goal tally when the Hornets take on struggling Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
Ighalo is Watford’s top scorer this season with 12 league goals, more than any of the club’s players has ever scored in the Premier League.
The Nigeria ace wants more against the Blues, who will be playing their first match under Guus Hiddink after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.
“My job is to score goals and as a striker I want to do that against Chelsea,” Ighalo told Completesportsnigeria.com in an exclusive chat.
“It’s going to be a massive game but we are going to go out as we always do and push teams, give our best.
“It’s going to be difficult because those players will want to play for the new manager, prove their position.
“But in football it is not going to be easy for them and it is not going to be easy for us, so we are going to have to go there and give it everything.”
