Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko won All Progressives Congress Primaries for Sokoto North Senatorial Seat.
The Primaries was held yesterday at Trade Fair Complex in Sokoto City.
Chairman of the Electoral Panel, Alhaji Nasiru Danladi Bako said the governor got 2,372 votes to emerge winner of the primaries.
In his speech, Wammako thanked the delegates for electing him and he also promised them that he will not fail.
He assured the zone of adequate representation in the senate if elected.
