Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has embarked on a three-day official visit to the Republic of South Africa, a statement from his media office said.
According to the statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolo Akande, the vice president departed Abuja for Pretoria in the early hours of Friday.
While in the Rainbow nation, Prof. Osinbajo is expected to pay a courtesy visit on his South African counterpart, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa.
Furthermore, the statement said the vice president will commission the consular building of the Nigeria High Commission in Pretoria and attend programmes at the House of Revival Church in Brakpan.
Prof. Osinbajo is expected back in the country on Sunday after a meeting with members of the Nigerian community in South Africa.
