Ovation publisher, Dele Momodu has hailed popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde for standing up for the masses.
Momodu disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday after Omotola described the condition of the country under the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as “hellish”.
The actress’s comment had generated a storm, especially on social media.
While many agreed with Omotola’s assessment of the nation’s situation, some others accused her of being among a class of Nigerians that had benefitted from the largesse allegedly shared by the previous Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administrations.

However, Momodu described Omotola as a “phenomenal” celebrity ready to express her views publicly.
He recalled in 2010 when the actress joined the Enough is Enough rally to protest against the present state of the nation.
The journalist also shared photos from the protest.
