In yet another allegation of extrajudicial killing against the police, operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have allegedly shot two men dead at Iyana Coker bus stop, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State.
A Twitter user, @D_Browwn, shared videos of the victims late Sunday evening and copied Police Reforms advocate, Segun ‘Sega’ Awosanya.
The Twitter user identified the victims simply as Hakeem and Monsty May.
Police authorities have yet to react to the latest alleged killings.
The killings barely come a week after two young lovers – Ada Ifeanyi, 20, and her boyfriend, Emmanuel Akomafuwa, 32 – were shot while returning from a night club in Ajegunle, a suburb of Lagos. In the April 13 shooting, Ifeanyi died on the spot while Akomafuwa is still recent treatment in the hospital.
