Music sensation, Rema may have more than 1.7 million followers on Instagram and Twitter but he prefers to date a girl that is considerably less famous and chatty.
The Dumebi crooner disclosed this in an interview with UK-based radio station Capital Xtra.
He said his ideal girl must not be garrulous or crave social media attention excessively.
“I don’t like girls who talk to much, to be honest.
“I don’t like girls who tweet too much, talk too much, post too much.
“If I want to date a girl, I’ll go for a one thousand-follower girl or 500-follower (girl) or private-page girl,” he stated.
“I don’t want this hyped-up relationship. I like to keep it all closed.”
Explaining his reason for wanting a taciturn partner, Rema said, “One of the reasons why I get worried about girls who talk too much is because I will tend to tell them much and sometimes they might mistakenly leak something of my info to their friends and (other) people.”
