A member of the United States House of Representatives, Congressman Chris Smith, has taken a swipe at the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for not doing enough to end herdsmen attacks especially in Northern Nigeria.
Christopher Henry Smith represents New Jersey’s 4th congressional district, serving since 1981, and is the Chairman of House Sub Committee on Africa.
The congressman expressed concern about the capability of the Federal Government to stop the violence and put an end to the attacks, accusing Buhari of ethnicity which he said contributed to much of the tension in the area.
He urged the presidency to prioritise security in Nigeria.
