The trial of Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen for alleged non-assets declaration and money laundering has commenced at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).
The accused, who was represented by Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN and 86 other lawyers, was not present at the tribunal sitting that commenced Monday morning.
The prosecution team, comprising four lawyers, was led by Mr. Aliyu Umar (SAN).

The members of the tribunal led by Tribunal Chairman, Danladi Umar, arrived at the court around 10:00am.
