Two lovers have lost their lives, following a careless public display of affection on a bridge in Peru.
The duo, Maybeth Espinoz, and Hector Vidal had gone to party at a nightclub in the Cusco area of the country on Saturday but as they headed back home, they decided to kiss and make out on the Bethlehem Bridge around 1 am in the morning.
They soon began to tilt as Maybeth began to wrap her legs around Hector while she partially sat in the railings of the bridge’s barricade.

The 34-year-old lady then continued to lean backward, and eventually, dragged Hector with her as they both fell from the 50ft bridge.
Maybeth is said to have died instantly as they hit the ground but Hector died later in the hospital, after suffering from a fractured skull.
The lovers were mountaineers and had relocated to that part of the country to take up tour guide roles.
